The app integrates with SharePoint Online and OneDrive. It does not support SharePoint Server (on-premise). Confluence Cloud has no version pinning. Every customer runs the latest version automatically.
Instance requirement
Confluence must be accessed over HTTPS (SSL). Without HTTPS, the app may not work as expected.
End users also need a supported browser and third-party cookies enabled. These user-side requirements are listed once in the User guide.
Required app permissions
The app accesses SharePoint content in the context of the signed-in user. During the Microsoft consent process, it requests the following Microsoft Graph permissions.

All permissions are delegated: consent applies only to actions the signed-in user is already allowed to perform in SharePoint. The same permission model as SharePoint applies, and the app stores or processes no data offline.
Depending on your organization's consent settings in Microsoft Entra ID, each user can grant consent individually, or an admin can grant consent once for everyone. For details, see the installation guide.
