You install the app in Confluence from the Atlassian Marketplace, and that is all you need to embed SharePoint content in Confluence. To also embed Confluence pages in SharePoint, a SharePoint admin additionally deploys the Confluence Page Embedder in SharePoint. You cannot run the app from the SharePoint side alone.
