This guide covers everything Confluence global admins need to install, configure, and manage Advanced Panelboxes.
As an admin, you decide which panelbox designs authors can use. You define them once, and every panelbox on every page follows your definition.
Before you begin
-
You are a Confluence global admin. The app checks the Confluence administrator permission, not your group membership.
-
Authors need no permissions beyond edit access on the page. They cannot change a panelbox design.
-
The instance needs an active license or a running trial. Without one, the macros show a license message instead of a panel.
-
Panelbox designs apply to the whole instance. There is no space-level configuration.
In this guide
-
Install Advanced Panelboxes. Install from the Atlassian Marketplace and start a trial or activate a license.
-
Configure the panel designs. Create, change, and remove the designs authors select from.
-
Import and export panel designs. Move a design set between instances, or restore one.
