Metadata for Confluence

Deleted user is not anonymized in metadata set

Problem

Since Confluence 6.13

Since Confluence 6.13, when a user is deleted, Confluence automatically starts the anonymization process. But the "user" field type in metadata does not seem to be anonymized because no automatic reindex is started. Therefore, spaces or pages with this user in the metadata can be found after the user is deleted.

Solution

If you delete a user and have a field type "user" active in a metadata set, please rebuild the index. Afterward, you will no longer find documents with the old username.
